Many real estate people we know – – including us! – – had a slower August in terms of sales. OB Jacobi of Windermere echoed a sentiment felt by many when he commented that “Given the seasonality of real estate and low inventory levels, I think we’re on the cusp of a slowdown in the housing market.” But the numbers showed that last month was the second highest August since the year 2000. J. Lennox Scott of John L. Scott opined that “Conditions are optimal for the home buying surge in the Puget Sound Region to continue, due to job growth and historically low interest rates.” What say you?
