The ability to gather information quickly is not a new thing. Ask yourself how many times you’ve read something on Social Media and think to yourself, “Why don’t they just Google that?” So this latest article on Inman piqued my interest.
FSBO’s are down. They accounted for 12-14% of market share in 2001-2009. According to Inman, “In addition, the share of recent home-sellers who sold with an agent remained at a record high of 89 percent in the last year.”
We have all of these tools (Google, Zillow, Realtor, Brokerages) that give us real time data and information, but when it comes down to actually selling a home, most folks (or builder, or developer) want (and need, in my opinion) a professional to help them do so.
